Born and raised in Kingston, Ontario, Julia Bannard studied classical voice and piano from the age of three. Upon receiving a Bachelor of Arts Specializing in Music, Bannard spent four years touring Canada as keyboardist and background vocalist for various indie-folk and rock bands.
