Carley Gallant is Cayuga Nation, Turtle clan from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. She is a graduate of Sheridan College Visual and Creative Art’s Advanced Diploma program. Upon graduation Carley will be continuing to a program at Ontario College of Art and Design University in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor is Indigenous Visual Culture. Carley’s connection to her cultural roots, her community involvement and her personal artistic expression gives a confident voice to who she is as a contemporary First Nations woman.
