Lisa Sars is a Vancouver-based dance artist working with elementary aged students. A student of Anne Green Gilbert, her teaching methodology for dance is holistic, nurturing collaborative connections, responsive dancers and creative problem solving. She teaches the 15 concepts of dance and developmental movement patterns (BrainDance) to enhance the students' kinaesthetic understanding of the world. She loves learning what makes students light up - a Katy Perry song or a glow-in-the-dark dance - and helping them unleash their inner dancer in front of hundreds of people. Lisa graduated from Maindance in 2007 and studied ballet for 9 years.
