I am based on Vancouver Island and specialize in representational oil paintings. I love the landscapes here ~ the ocean, sea and rain-forests are wonderful subject matter. I often include Haida symbolism in my work and feel a real connection to their culture.
I had a show in Waterton National Park, at the Gust Gallery focusing on the big skies, mountains and buildings of Southern Alberta.
I have an extensive collection of Southern Albertan landscape panting's on my website.
When I am not painting prairies or coastal scenes I am potting, tending to my lovely garden or planning trips to capture more pictures of this beautiful Island I call home.
My work can be seen at several locations here on the Island. Englishmen River Gallery, Salish Sea Market, Comox Airport, The Mark Penney Gallery etc.
Two of my paintings grace the Canadian Collectors Rogers Chocolate Tins which are sold in various places including BC ferries and Rogers in Victoria.
