Forever changing, and always willing to experiment with something new and different are characteristics that best describe Kathy. Her love of colour and texture plays an important role in her work.
Kathy has been studying watercolour painting and other water-based mediums since 1988. She has been involved in numerous workshops with various B.C. and American Artists during this time, and continues to enjoy trying new techniques and ideas.
Her love of watercolour and art have led her into teaching assignments, where her main focus has been on teaching children and adults how to paint in watercolour and mixed media techniques. Kathy has taught through the Delta Arts Council and the South Delta Artists' Guild as well as her present focus on teaching adults and children with her business partner through the company they have formed, "TriArt". Kathy also spent the 1997/98 academic year at Langara College studying Fine Arts, with her focus on Printmaking and Sculpture.
