Archan Knotz works in mediums such as monotype printmaking, watercolour and, handmade journal making. First the rough wilderness of the inland and as of late the Northumberland Strait is giving her the background to explore her emotional landscape. Rather than, Archan explaining her artwork and, therefore, hindering the beholder to establish their own ideas about the artwork, she would like the onlooker to give her an explanation of what the artwork provokes in them. “For me the moment of explanation is in the past, all I can offer is for someone else to be in the moment.”
