Taking several art classes in 2003 reignited Nancy’s need to be creative. She moved to the South Okanagan in 2007 and thoroughly loves it. She joined the Artists on Main (formerly Osoyoos Painters & Potters) in 2008 and then the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2009 as a supporting member, and was juried to active status in May 2009. Watercolour has been her preferred medium, however she does like to explore other mediums and she is enjoying her exploration of acrylics, particularly mixing representational with abstract. Her work has won awards and has been accepted into several juried shows.
