Tea Preville

Tea Preville catapulted her public artistic adventure in 2010.
- achieved active status with the Federation of Canadian Artists;
- exhibited in a juried Chapter show in Kamloops, BC;
- exhibited in Nelson’s ArtWalk Windows 2010;
- her artwork was broadcast across Canada on CBC’s Ron James Show;
- participated in the 2010 Columbia Basin Cultural Tour;
- exhibited at the Kootenay Gallery in Castlegar, BC; and
- awarded a Columbia Basin Trust (CBT) grant through Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance (CKCA) for her historical landscape project – ‘ Churches Temples & Tipis – 50 Kilometre Radius Spiritual Diet’.
- 2011 – volunteered as treasurer to the Nelson and District Arts Council
- 2012 – became West Kootenay Director for ArtsBC (Assembly of BC Arts Councils)
- 2013 – elected President of ArtsBC
- 2013 – elected Vice-President of West Kootenay Chapter of Federation of Canadian Artists
