My earliest recollections of drawing were of houses. I think I will always be in love with houses, and the stories they so readily conjure in my imagination.
Line, shape and design are my strongest motivators when creating art. Which would support the attraction I have for anything architectural. Colour plays an important role in my work, but it is a support player in the grand plan.
Recently I have been inspired by the art of the Abstract Expressionists, and Bay Area Painters. I am thoroughly enjoying the exploration and brilliance of their works, and hope to bring their influence into my current direction.
