Susan grew up on a farm in central Alberta, and has had a love for drawing her whole life. Her artistic inclination led her to study at the Alberta College of Art in Calgary from which she graduated with a major in Visual Communications. Susan lives with her husband and children on an acreage in Parkland County. She enjoys working in many different mediums, with graphite and coloured pencil being her primary focus over recent years. Many of Susan’s pencil drawings feature people and landscapes that reflect her prairie roots.
