She considers herself a student of life and sees her love of art as a lifelong passion and wants to pass that passion on to others. Of all the mysteries of life, painting is the one she's most curious about. She is grateful for the opportunity to have studied the fundamentals of art. Her techniques have been influenced by the works of the Group of Seven and Emily Carr -- and even Walt Disney. However, it's her curiosity to explore and experiment with new and exciting approaches that keeps her moving forward.
