The world around us is a treasure that most pass by. From the awe and splendor of nature itself, to the the people, places and things that fill our world, I try to capture these simple things and represent them the way my eyes and mind see them and transfer that imagery to the canvas so that maybe others can take a moment to appreciate it for themselves and just maybe learn how to capture there own piece of the beauty around them. My students range from child to adult, I teach the principles and elements that make a beautiful piece of art but in that I also try to communicate and point out the importance to understanding what they see and how to bring it life on the canvas and give them the confidence and ability to do so.
