Melissa Baron is an artist and art teacher from Edmonton. In her paintings, she employs skies as a motif to investigate representations of experience and memory. She studied art in the University of Alberta and Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney, Australia. She combines her love of art with other passion, teaching, both at Ecole Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School and through workshops at every opportunity. Baron currently works as a Curriculum Consultant with Alberta Education. Her artwork is represented by Bay 1 Gallery.
