Pivoting my arts education practice during the pandemic: Interactive Concerts
Thanks to the support of MASC (Multicultural Arts in Schools and Communities), the artist roster I am on, I was able to pivot to presenting online interactive concerts. MASC arranged for its artist to film high quality videos of our interactive concerts. This allowed for me to still connect with audiences in schools and communities in new creative ways.
Though performing and doing workshops online has not replaced live music, it has helped us to discover new ways of being in our craft. A big thank you to MASC for continuing to support and invest in its artists during the pandemic! Apartment613 published an in-depth article highlighting the ways in which my programming has changed during the pandemic.

As people we are multifaceted, and I think the way we experience and engage in the arts should be as well.
