As a master percussionist, Fana will introduce traditional playing techniques of the djembé, West Africa’s most popular drum, as well as other hand-held percussion instruments. He will share call and response in various languages native to northern Ivory Coast.

In a group songwriting experience, students explore and celebrate the things that make their classrooms unique by writing and recording their own classroom songs. Gary also helps schools compose ‘theme’ songs.

In our flagship participatory program, we use photography as a tool for self-expression, critical and creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and classroom inclusivity.

The workshop teaches relief printmaking methods using foam and softoleum blocks.

A guaranteed winner with any group, screenprinting parties allow everyone to shine and make their own t-shirt. Participants are empowered to run their own screenprinting studio for a day, building teamwork and a deeper understanding of group dynamics.

“Animation City” is a fun and different way of learning through media education. Our hands-on workshops will encourage students to be imaginative and inventive while creating stories through the art of animation.

Feather Bundle workshops are infused with valuable lessons that reflect respect for others, respect for the land and the animals that we share it with. We explore natural order and introduce the ways in which Indigenous cultures hold Mother Earth's animals in high esteem.
