CDPQ’s philanthropic activity in Québec is based on its desire to provide relevant and lasting assistance by investing in the community. By offering financial support, in the form of a donation or a sponsorship, CDPQ takes an approach based on its vision of being a source of constructive capital built upon its fundamental values of ethics and rigour, and on the expertise of its teams.
CLICK awards grants to organizations providing programs benefitting inner city children and youth in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Since CLICK was founded in 2004 as a community charitable foundation, we have directed more than half a million dollars to 350 different programs supporting inner city kids in Vancouver. These programs support CLICK’s three main objectives:
2024 Application Dates
Deadlines take place annually in May, August and December.
May 24 – For activities that begin in the summer or fall.
August 16 – For activities that begin in the fall.
December 6 – For activities that begin in January or February 2025.

The #DesjardinsFoundation prizes, organized by Desjardins Foundation, award financial assistance for projects with a direct impact on kindergarten, elementary and secondary school students.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Organizations will be eligible for the #DesjardinsFoundation prizes if they belong to one of the following categories:
Established in memory of Cathy and Laura Gainey, the Gainey Foundation is committed to supporting charitable organizations that offer environmental and arts education programs for youth.
The Gainey Foundation carefully examines all funding requests submitted by registered charitable organizations that offer environmental and/or arts education programs for youth.
Under the Income Tax Act, the Foundation may make grants only to “qualified donees”; for the most part this means federally registered charities.
Heidelberg Materials North America works diligently to fulfill our vision of Simple Actions Build Strong Communities by supporting initiatives in our local communities and focusing on Arts and Education, Environment, and Health & Well-being. The Heidelberg Materials Helps program was established to form a structured and cohesive platform to drive community engagement across our business lines, while also promoting and supporting employees who donate time and monies to nonprofit, charitable organizations.
REQUEST FUNDING
There is neither a particular form to fill, nor restricting procedure to follow to ask for financial support from the Simple Plan Foundation. Each organization or person is free to explain its objectives and needs in its own way, either by e-mail (info@simpleplanfoundation.com) or by letter.
Since 2004, we have been dedicated to putting books in the hands of children in high-needs communities across Canada. With the support of Indigo and its customers, we have committed over $35 million to over 3,500 schools, impacting more than 1 million children.
The Indigo Love of Reading Foundation exists to ensure that all Canadian kids have access to books and the opportunity to fall in love with reading. The Literacy Fund Grant is our largest national granting program, and was created to dramatically increase literacy access for kids across the country.
