National Arts Centre - National Creation Fund

Paving the way for a new model of creation in Canada’s performing arts.

Artists and arts organizations across the country have told us that too often, they lack the extensive resources and time that are required to develop compelling work – work that is ambitious, innovative and fully realized.
We call this the creation gap.
The National Arts Centre is determined to fill that gap.

Criteria

The National Creation Fund invests in projects that meet the following criteria:

Music BC

Music BC Industry Association is a not for profit association serving the for profit and non-profit music industry, including artists from all genres, industry professionals, service providers, studios, promoters, venues, festivals, producers, agents, managers and educational institutions. Music BC is the voice of the BC Music industry locally, domestically and internationally, through active advocacy for funding, policy, red tape reduction, tax credits and creator’s rights.

Yellowknife Community Foundation - Wally12Million Arts Fund

Established in 2014, the purpose of The Wally12Million Arts Fund is to support residents of the NWT pursuing post-secondary studies in fine arts or music.

Wally12Million is a solo project that Walter composed and performed, and is available on SoundCloud.

Calgary Arts Development supports and strengthens the arts to benefit all Calgarians.

As the city’s designated arts development authority, Calgary Arts Development supports and strengthens the arts to benefit all Calgarians. We invest and allocate municipal funding for the arts provided by The City of Calgary and leverage these funds to provide additional resources to the arts sector. Our programs support hundreds of arts organizations, individual artists, artist collectives, and ad hoc groups in Calgary.

Music Industry Development (Artist Development | Live Performance | Marketing) - Music•Musique NB

WHAT IS THE MID PROGRAM?  

The Music Industry Development (MID) program fosters the development and growth of the music industry in New Brunswick through project investment proposed by artists and music businesses based in New Brunswick. Music·Musique NB administers the investment program on behalf of the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture.

ArtsNL - Professional Project Grants Program (PPGP)

ArtsNL is a non-profit Crown agency created in 1980 by The Arts Council Act. Its mission is to foster and promote the creation and enjoyment of the arts for the benefit of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians.

ArtsNL receives an annual grant from the Province to support a variety of granting programs, program delivery, office administration, and communications. It also seeks support from the public and private sector. It supports the following artistic disciplines: dance, film, multidiscipline, music, theatre, visual art, and writing.
