Milton African and Multicultural Festival(MAMF) is a community event dedicated to enabling every individual regardless of race, gender, ethnic origin to participate as a full and active member of the community through fostering mutual respect and understanding of one another. We stand as a collective of community members, artists, non-artists offering a message of love, unity, hope and intellectual stimulation through music, dance, storytelling and various forms of cultural activities.

Cette célébration de plusieurs jours rassemble des participants de tout le Canada et d’ailleurs qui sont passionnés par le chant collectif. PODIUM 2022 sera l’occasion de retrouver d’anciens amis et d’en rencontrer de nouveaux, à Toronto, l’une des villes les plus multiculturelles et les plus passionnantes du monde.

This multi-day celebration brings together participants from across the country and beyond who are passionate about group singing. PODIUM 2022 is our opportunity to gather with friends new and old in Toronto, one of the world’s most multicultural and exciting cities. 

The WeeFestival of Arts & Culture for Early Years, Toronto's only festival of its kind,
will return May 31st to June 12th!

WeeFestival’s dynamic and diverse 2022 program promises unforgettable first live theatre experiences created especially for children under 6 years by artists from across Canada and around the corner!

Art Vancouver is returning for its 6th edition! Western Canada’s largest international art fair is being held at the Vancouver Convention Centre West May 5th to 8th. Featuring reputable galleries and artists from across Canada and around the world, with an art runway show, artist talks, a live painting competition, speaker panels, art classes and more.

Ever wonder why the colour red is so prominent or why there are so many firecracker decorations during Lunar New Year? Step inside the ancient tale of the sea-monster Nian (年) at #IntoTheLight to gain a deeper understanding of why we still celebrate these rituals and customs today. You will also get the opportunity to create your own paper lantern - a fun activity for both children and adults alike.

For over a decade we have supported LGBTQ2S+ folx to take their stories from the private to the public and then create a performance. We are once again bringing these stories into the light. Join us at the Eighty Eight Brewing Co. from 7-9 PMish on December 12th. We will be showcasing the funny, poignant and personal stories of 6 folx who are trying to make their way in the world as queer. Admission is free and everyone gets a $5 bar tab to enjoy whatever refreshments they like.

The first-ever Yukon Prize for Visual Arts Gala is on Saturday November 20th. Can’t make it to the Yukon? Anyone world-wide can tune in to the free live stream that will include a performance by popular Yukon-born musician and the reveal of the winner.

The aims of Canada Music Week® are to bring to the attention of the public, through various means, the importance of Canadian music; to support composers and performers of Canadian music; to introduce contemporary music to young Canadians and stimulate a keener appreciation and understanding of this music; and to encourage music educators to widen their knowledge and experience of Canadian works.

The Humber School for Writers returns to the Toronto International Festival of Authors with a series of daily professional writing masterclasses led by its renowned faculty members and special guests, including Omar El Akkad, Jordan Tannahill, Sheila Heti and more. Each 90-minute class will be presented virtually and will focus on a specific aspect of writing craft. Sign up for one or attend them all! All writing levels are welcome.
