Your child will learn a range of fundamental dance principles, including rhythm, musicality, and musical timing using a variety of dance styles, including line dancing, Ballroom and Latin.
Centauri Arts is offering a NEW wellness program for teens, starting September, on Zoom. The purpose of the program is to focus teens on the importance of our emotional and physical wellness. Workshops will explore the role creativity plays in wellness, techniques to cultivate a positive mindset, how nutrition and physical health contribute to wellness, and an exploration of community. We'll look at how nature and the outdoors can improve our overall wellness, and touch on strategies such as meditation and mindfulness.
The Centauri Arts Academy is an education studio in West Toronto offering arts enrichment and extra-curricular courses for ages 9-18. We're expanding significantly in September 2020! Our 14-week semesters will include virtual and in-studio classes in all areas of the arts, taught by arts professionals with many years of teaching experience. Options include: Theatre, Dance, Playwriting, Film Production, Fine Art, Digital Art, Design, Photography and Creative Writing.

Dans cette série de 4 jours présentée en partenariat avec Kids Code Jeunesse, les enfants exploreront différents artistes et leurs styles de signature à travers l'histoire de l'art moderne; de Picasso à Pollock. Chaque jour, les enfants généreront des œuvres d'art numériques en utilisant la plate-forme de codage de blocs par glisser-déposer Scratch. Chaque session commencera par un projet artistique pratique qui fait couler le jus créatif et mène à notre activité de codage de la journée.

Following the success of transitioning to online classes in April, we are excited to offer our first online summer camp! In the comfort of their homes, students will be immersed in the world of musicals with educator and professional choreographer, Nicol Spinola. Besides focusing on choreography and movement to musical theatre compositions, students will explore acting and other aspects of musical theatre through fun class activities and engaging discussions with like-minded individuals.
The Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival’s UNSUNG VOICES Summer Youth Video Production Workshop will provide young Asian Canadians who have a keen interest in film and media art the chance to express themselves as artists, learn from professionals in the field, and to produce a distinctly Asian Canadian story on screen.
