The International Drama/Theatre and Education Association (IDEA) will hold its tenth world conference from July 15 to 20 in Beijing, China.  The overarching theme is “A Harmonious World — Constructing a harmonious Cultural, Artistic, and Spiritual Home for Humanity through Drama and Theatre.”  There are four subthemes:

1. Sharing Global Drama Education Experience and Practice

2. Enabling cross-cultural communication and understanding

3. Exploring emerging possibilities and scenarios for drama education

Creativity as a force of social transformation: An Odyssey

The Canadian Artists Network, the voice of Canada's experienced professional artists, is happy to announce the participants for the annual virtual conference Maintaining Creativity 8 from October 30-November 3, 2023. Lake Field Music camp for adults

This retreat for adults brings together amateur musicians and an exceptional faculty of 20 musicians/educators for one week of instruction and creativity in a friendly and supportive environment.  Singers and instrumentalists build their programs from ~60 ensembles and workshops.

35th World Conference for the International Society for Music Education 2022

Welcome to the 35th World Conference of the International Society of Music Education! This is the first time the conference will be back in Australia in 32 years. The last time the World Conference was held in Australia was way back in 1988, in the national capital, Canberra. The conference will be held Online. 

The conference theme A Visible Voice is closely aligned with the values of the Australian Society of Music Education, and the broader musical landscape in Australia.
