Peninsula Productions has announced its return to the stage with a staged reading of Allison Engel and Margaret Engel’s Erma Bombeck: At Wit's End, directed by newly appointed artistic director Guy Fauchon.
"I don't think women outlive men Doctor. It only seems longer" - Erma Bombeck
Featuring Nancy Ebert (Theatre BC, Best Actress WInner), the play centres around real-life newspaper humour columnist Erma Bombeck, a woman who set aside her dreams of being a journalist to step into the role of a suburban housewife, which later served as the source of her witty anecdotes that went on to entertain readers across the United States and Canada. Packed with humour and sincerity, this comedic play is sure to leave you in stitches.
