David Livingston School in Winnipeg had been working on creating treaties with their communities, parents and each other. I was brought in to develop an interpretation of their treaties in a mural form. Students, Elders and the community represented their ideas and a 15 foot dream cat
Mini Tipi workshop allows students to learn about the tipi and its teachings. It begins with a demonstration of a full size tipi either in the class room or outdoors Each participant then gets to create their own model tipi while learning about traditional techniques and design.
A creative journey of discovering where our food comes from, in this particular journey we investigate the fascinating story of the chocolate tree. Through a series of hands-on workshops the students learned about the life cycles of the chocolate tree and their significance in our culture today.
