Government of PEI - Arts Grants

The mandate of the PEI Arts Grants is to support, assist, encourage and represent the arts community in the province. Funding is available to Prince Edward Island artists through a juried grant application process.

The requirements are different for each  Arts Grant stream. Your application will be reviewed by your peers and funding will be allocated based on the quality of your application. You must complete a separate application for each grant.

VS. Arts Grant

Launched by artist Vivek Shraya, the VS. Arts Grant aims to offer financial support to marginalized artists in various fields, including the 2019 inaugural grant to fund an independent musician’s debut EP (awarded to cutsleeve, a five-piece female queer East Asian rock band in Toronto), the 2022 artistic exploration fund for women/femmes of color age 35 or over, and the 2024 grant to fund an installation piece by a trans or non-binary artist, awarded to Hollis Hunter.

Music BC Industry Association is a not for profit association serving the for profit and non-profit music industry, including artists from all genres, industry professionals, service providers, studios, promoters, venues, festivals, producers, agents, managers and educational institutions. Music BC is the voice of the BC Music industry locally, domestically and internationally, through active advocacy for funding, policy, red tape reduction, tax credits and creator’s rights.

Yellowknife Community Foundation - Wally12Million Arts Fund

Established in 2014, the purpose of The Wally12Million Arts Fund is to support residents of the NWT pursuing post-secondary studies in fine arts or music.

WHAT IS THE MID PROGRAM?  

The Music Industry Development (MID) program fosters the development and growth of the music industry in New Brunswick through project investment proposed by artists and music businesses based in New Brunswick. Music·Musique NB administers the investment program on behalf of the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage and Culture.
