Panel Discussion: Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Dance

Canada’s National Ballet School and Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet School are pleased to co-present a panel discussion focused on equity, diversity and inclusion in dance classrooms. We will explore best practices for culturally responsive dance teaching and equitable learning design for dance classes. The panelists will discuss from an artist's perspective how to approach incorporating their work in classroom settings. They will also discuss important considerations for teachers as they bring diverse art forms into the classroom.
