The Victoria Guitar Society is proud to present Drew Henderson in collaboration with the Victoria Conservatory of Music's Summer Intensive Program - Guitar. Drew will adjudicate a Masterclass at the beginning of the week and present a Recital to close the week of classical guitar studies.

Folklorama at Home presents Drum Cafe at a FREE noon hour concert at Winnipeg's Central Park.  Sponsored by the West End Biz, Catch Drum Cafe's energy and excitement as they share the powerful sounds of the African drums and the highly energetic dance moves in what could be their only live performance of the season.

The Elora Singers at Twilight 
Music for the End of the Day

This program evokes the ambiance of a candlelit a cappella concert, including excerpts of Rachmaninov’s "Vespers", Renaissance and modern music for the end of the day. The sounds of plainsong, polyphony and rich modern harmonies offer a lovely late-evening program.

The Elora Singers: Cover Story

"Cover Story" is a light-hearted program of folk song arrangements and covers of contemporary popular music by such diverse artists as Annie Lennox, the Beatles, Björk, and Carly Simon.

Poetry & Song

The Elora Singers & Colm Feore

"Poetry & Song" blends words and music as we hear Canadian stage actor Colm Feore narrate the program, including the world premiere of a newly commissioned work by Canadian composer Stephanie Martin, based on poetry by Robert Frost.

Russell Braun and Carolyn Maule in Recital

Canada’s foremost baritone Russell Braun in recital with pianist Carolyn Maule. Included in the program are Stanford’s "Songs of the Sea", with the tenors and basses of The Elora Singers.
